There are 2 pet crematoriums located in Courtenay - Vancouver Island Animal Crematorium, which is us, and Pet Crematoria Services, also known as PCS.
What prompted us to post this information are the numerous calls we receive from families who are looking for the ashes of their companion animal. These families were told their pet's body was picked up by the crematorium in Courtenay.
Do not assume that the "crematorium in Courtenay" is automatically our company. When you are told your pet is being picked up by a crematorium, ask for the specific name, address and phone number.
We have an 'open door policy' and we welcome you to visit our facility.
Pre-planning is an excellent way to choose a crematorium that will give your pet the best care.
